President - Tanha Ashraf
Tanha is currently a senior pursuing a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy at Arizona State University. She has worked as a research assistant in Dr. Neuberg's Social Values and Stigma Lab which studies prejudice and stereotyping; Dr. Campana’s lab which studies Arts, Media, and Engineering with linguistics; and Dr. MacBeath’s lab, studying memory and cognition. Tanha also serves as the Vice President of Membership and Recruitment to Delta Zeta Sorority and has been involved in Residential Hall Association and the Undergraduate Student Government. Tanha aspires to obtain a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology so she can work in corporate consulting.
Vice President- Kelly Dunn
Kelly is a sophomore pursuing a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Family and Human Development at Arizona State University. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. In the Fall of 2011, Kelly plans to volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Her future plans include assisting in research labs, participating in internships, and volunteering throughout the rest of her undergraduate studies.Substance abuse and addiction, as well as mental health counseling are
her strong interests. Kelly aspires to get her masters in clinicalpsychology or counseling, and is considering pursuing a PhD.
Treasurer - Sarah Cassidy
Sarah is a senior pursuing a B.A. in psychology at Arizona State University. She is currently a research assistant in Dr. Steve Neuberg’s social psychology lab. Sarah is also involved in the Arizona State University chapters of Golden Key International Honor Society along with The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Next semester, she will be working in an internship with Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council in the "Just US: Social Program for Girls". After graduating, Sarah intends on attending graduate school and obtaining a Masters Degree in counseling.
Service and Events Coordinator - Kim Caron
Kim is a senior majoring in Psychology and pursuing a minor in Family and Human Development at Arizona State University. She is a research assistant in Dr. Gary Ladd and Dr. Becky Ladd’s lab 4R-SUCCESS which aims to enhance children’s social and learning skills to better work with classmates and increase cooperation between them. She hopes to receive a PhD in Developmental Psychology so she can continue doing research.
Public Relations - Kelsey Staudinger
Kelsey is a Junior at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in Psychology and Biological Sciences. Kelsey will be working in the Stress and Emotion lab during the 2011-2012 school year and plans on going to medical school after graduation to become a physician.
Faculty Advisor - Dr. Keith Crnic
Dr.Crnic is the Psychology Department Chair. His research interests include parent-child interaction, parenting, and family process predictions to emerging behavior problems in young children. The nature of stress in parent-child relationships and its influence on child and family functioning.
Faculty Advisor - Dr. Lynda Mae
Dr. Mae is a Social Psychologist who teaches a number of psychology classes at ASU and does trial consulting. She specializes in creating multimedia presentations for the classroom and courtroom.
Faculty Advisor - Dr. Morris Okun
Dr. Okun is a Psychology professor whose research includes applications of social psychological theories and concepts to several domains including commitment to education, health and well-being, dyadic relationships, and volunteering by older adults.
